I’m an overachiever and an over-giver. Terrible, right? Just kidding! However, for a long time I was told that this was my flaw.

“YOU GIVE TOO MUCH” “YOU DO TOO MUCH” “YOU SHOULD BE LIKE THIS, YOU SHOULD DO IT LIKE THAT”

But .. it is genuinely what sets me apart. I do my own way about doing things. And I guarantee that you are going to walk away from our session jumping up and down with excitement to see your edited images.

My name is Megan and i’m a hardworking mama bear with a deep love for photography. When i’m not photographing families, couples, boudoir, and weddings .. i’m whipping up new homemade recipes from scratch, cleaning up building blocks, singing Puppy Dog Pals, or lost somewhere in Youtube.

I grew up in the small quiet town of Madison, VA. Where the community is as strong as the mountains are blue and the local grocery store is an everyday High-School reunion.

When I was 8 years old, a dream was thankfully planted inside my young and impressionable mind. I was sitting in the backseat of my father’s Buick when he turned around and handed me a beat up and quite smelly book that was titled “How to become a Photographer” from 1972. And when I was 18, my mother gift me my first DSLR camera in dim lit Outback Steakhouse.

For the past 18 years i’ve been learning, growing, and elbowing my way to become the the professional Photographer I am today.

My mission is to make every single one of my clients feel comfortable, to capture them in their raw form, and to always keep them excited about their experience in front of my camera. My hope is that you will see photograph for what I have since I was 8 years old. Something a lot more special that a simple smile and forced posed.

I can wait to meet you,

xoxo megan
